Will advises public entities, employers, developers, contractors, sub-contractors, engineers and professional consultants in relation to construction, engineering and oil & gas projects in Saudi Arabia.

Before relocating to KSA, Will was based in the firm’s Dubai office from 2016. During his time in the Middle East, he has assisted clients in relation to several high-profile disputes in the UAE, Syria, Iraq and Oman. Such have included advancing or defending claims for time and money, rectification of defects, matters of termination, and final account assessments.

Will has advised clients in complex and high-value construction arbitration proceedings pursuant to the SCCA, DIAC, LCIA, ICC, and UNCITRAL Rules, and acted on several smaller disputes pursuant to ad hoc arbitration and court proceedings in local Courts. He regularly acts as ‘Project Counsel’ during live projects or in anticipation of formal disputes, and advises on matters of health & safety assists with criminal and civil proceedings that arise following site injuries/fatalities.  

Will trained and qualified with the firm in London and spent his initial years in practice assisting clients on projects/ disputes (adjudication and the TCC) in the UK and Europe. A 5-month secondment to a UK-based Tier 1 contractor occurred during that time.
