Dr. LIN Wei, Senior partner of Zhonglun W&D Law Firm, serves as Vice-Chair of CIIAF.

 

Having obtained L.L.B in Xiamen University and L.L.M in Dalian Maritime University, Dr. LIN finished his Doctor degree in law at Paris II University (Panthéon-Assas) in 2007, and afterwards attended Harvard Law School Executive Education as well as International Investment Arbitration Program in the University of Cambridge.

 

Dr. LIN has provided comprehensive legal services to Chinese enterprises in numerous cross-border M&A projects and international commercial arbitration cases before institutions such as the ICC, HKIAC, SIAC, and VIAC etc.. His practice covers Central Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America, spanning industries including manufacturing, agriculture, financial technology, mining, oil and gas, construction engineering contracting, or cooperative development projects, with the subject matter of cases exceeding tens of billions of US dollars.

 

Consecutively, he serves as an arbitrator in more than 20 arbitration commissions in P.R.China, including the CMAC, SHIAC, SAC, SCIA, Guangzhou Arbitration Commission, Chongqing Arbitration Commission, Hainan International Arbitration Court, Dalian Arbitration Commission, and Xiamen Arbitration Commission etc..

 

Dr. LIN was awarded ALB China Top 15 Overseas Investment Lawyers in Feb 2025; LegalOne Blue Ribbon China Top 15: Global Business in May 2025 and Lexpress Luminary Lawyers 20: Outbound Legal Services in Dec 2025.
