Speakers Ms. Teresa Cheng

Professor Teresa Cheng is the inaugural Secretary-General of the International Organization for Mediation (IOMed).  

  

She was the former Secretary for Justice of the Hong Kong SAR of China from January 2018 to June 2022.   

  

Professor Cheng served as Vice-chairman of the ICC Court of Arbitration and of the ICCA. She was President of the 59th AALCO Annual Session held in 2021.   

  

She has vast experience in dispute resolution and has been involved in complex international commercial and international investment cases as counsel, arbitrator and mediator. Academically, she is an Adjunct Professor of Tsinghua University.
