Speakers Sergejs Dilevka

Sergejs is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution department of the firm’s Dubai office. He has more than 19 years of experience advising and representing multinational companies and high-net-worth individuals in complex institutional (ICC, LCIA, DIFC-LCIA, LMAA, SCC, SCIA, DIAC, GCC CAC) and ad hoc international and domestic arbitration proceedings, as well as litigation before the DIFC Courts.

 

Sergejs has a particular focus on energy disputes, regularly acting in high-value, technically complex cases arising out of upstream and midstream oil and gas operations, joint venture and concession arrangements, EPC and O&M disputes relating to power and water projects, renewable energy developments, and long-term fuel supply and offtake contracts. His work frequently involves cross-border issues, expert-heavy proceedings, and claims with significant operational and financial impact for major energy companies and is regularly engaged in high-value, technically sophisticated disputes involving multi-jurisdictional issues, expert evidence, and substantial commercial and operational risk.

 

Beyond the energy sector, Sergejs’ experience extends to disputes in commerce, real estate, transportation, construction, and franchise and distribution agreements.
