Mr. Hu Ke is a partner in Jingtian & Gongcheng's Beijing office. He specializes in domestic and international litigation and arbitration, in commercial and IP-related matters.
He represents domestic and international clients in court proceedings in China and in arbitration proceedings under CIETAC, BAC, SHIAC, SCIA, HKIAC, SIAC, ICC, LCIA, SCC, CAS and UNCITRAL rules, many of which are high-stake cases, concerning matters involving corporate governance, equity investment, joint ventures, finance, trade, energy, construction, licensing, intellectual properties, and enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards. He has been receiving recommendations from Chambers, Who's Who Legal, Benchmark Litigation, Legal500 etc. as a leading practitioner or rising star for consecutive years. In 2023 he was included in GAR's third issue of "45 under 45", a ranking of elite young arbitration practitioners across the world, as the first Chinese Mainlander since its issue in 2005.
Mr. Hu is in the panel of arbitrators of CIETAC, SCIA and SCCA. He is deputy chair of the Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Committee of IPBA, member of the ICC Arbitration and ADR Commission and SIAC's Users Council. He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with LL.M degree, and Peking University Law School with LL.B degree. He is qualified in Mainland China and New York.
