Ben Hughes is a Senior Managing Director at Ankura, based in the Middle East. He possesses over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, primarily focused on consulting and advisory services. In the past, he has worked for multiple Big 4 advisory firms, government agencies, and boutique advisory firms. Ben’s key focus is on program assurance, project controls, project monitoring/auditing, and dispute avoidance.

 

Ben has worked extensively across the Middle East, as he relocated to the region in 2012 with an international advisory firm. Having served a wide range of clients, primarily in an advisory role, Ben then joined a government agency focused on auditing major projects and programs, thus providing assurance on delivery certainty. Since then, Ben has moved back into consulting and has helped a range of clients through the delivery of project assurance services, dispute avoidance, program assurance, and controls, in addition to providing reviews of internal controls, policies, and procedures in the delivery of major projects/programs. Ben joined the firm to lead the advisory function in delivering a broad range of services within the construction sector, bringing a wealth of regional knowledge.
