Speakers Ahmed Ismail

Ahmed Ismail is a Testified Delay Expert in FTI Consulting’s Forensic and Litigation Consulting practice and is based in Dubai. Mr. Ismail was appointed as an expert witness on several delay matters, including court cases and has given evidence and testified under oath in Dispute Adjudication Board process.

Mr. Ismail has more than 22 years of experience in the construction industry and delay analysis, and he is a Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Nominated Expert Witness.

Mr. Ismail also worked as a lead assistant to a party-appointed expert in an arbitration case under Dubai International Arbitration Centre (“DIAC”) rules and has prepared independent delay assessment reports for complex projects and disputes.

Mr. Ismail has experience in major projects including rail and metro construction, oil and gas and power installations, residential and commercial buildings construction, large horizontal residential developments, hospitals and luxurious hotels. He has worked in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE.
